we all share a love/appreciation for exceptionally beautiful, well-made bags from an exceptionally expensive fashion house (would we call hermes a fashion house now? they aren't all about horses any more). so i was just wondering what other stuff we might have in common, or more interestingly, if we have little else in common. it is my opinion that hermes is so fantastic that it could appeal to everyone, though some people have the good sense not to get hooked in the first place. so i assume we're a fairly diverse crowd, and i think a really pleasant and fun crowd at that (let's face it, if we weren't, the bags alone would not be enough to bring us all together). anyhoo, i have the time so i thought i would just run a little fun survey, and if you have the time, it might be fun to share your rseponses too:

employed: yup, freelance in publishing, work from home when i do, but it's not a high priority.
favorite fragrance: hee hee, i'm putting this in because i'm looking for suggestions actually - specifically something vanilla-y

beauty advice or addiction: conditioner, haircuts and lipstick, oh and moisturizer (sorry, obviously i am tailoring this to my own interests - feel free to embellish with your own points:shame
favorite store or site (other than hermes): that's hard... bergdorfs, and varda for shoes (both in nyc).
favorite color (for mood, not for bags ): different shades of purple
currently reading (again, i need a recommendation): i guess various magazines for now.
if you were a shoe you would be: a really comfortable but distinctive flat (think suede in an interesting color, with a leather sole)

employed: no. i was used to be a lawyer but still deciding if i want to go back to work. depends if something very tempting or interesting comes my way

favorite fragrance: oriental scents more on the heavy side but only applied with a gentle spritz

beauty advice or addiction: haircuts, mani and pedicure,long bubble bath sessions, good bodylotion and moisturizer oh and drink loads of water and enjoy life

favorite store or site (other than hermes): villa moda,sauce,saks, harvey nicholls and others all in dubai and shenkin street in tel aviv

favorite color (for mood, not for bags ): white and shades of rosé-pink

if you were a shoe you would be: black strappy stiletto sandal or classic pointy pumps. always for me 4" or flats no mid-heels
