Hi,

I always see you ladies post your beautiful watch collections on this forum. But I am just wondering, which watch do you take with you when you travel or go on vacation? Do you take one of your nice ones? or something less expensive?

For me personally the last time I was on vacation I took my steel and yellow gold Rolex Daytona... But I usually have a rule when I travel, to only take one watch.. because you will always have it on when you leave your hotel room.. won't be afraid to lose it or anything..

I usually take my Citizen Eco-Drive because it is maintenance free. It has a few diamonds for my enjoyment but isn't anything to attract unwanted attention.

This is what I do. I don't mind taking an expensive timepiece on vacation. I haven't traveled to any unsavory areas, so it's never been a problem for me. I always keep it on (never leave in hotel). It's really handy since I normally travel across several timezones. When I'm on the plane with my phone off, I have many opportunities to look adoringly at my timepiece. :graucho:

 Me too.. Enjoy it while you can ;) We only live once :p

It depends on what type of vacation I'm going on.

My favorite watch is my Omega Iris Constellation with diamonds and sapphires, but it is too blingy for some rural areas that I travel to. If I'm going to a city or other urban area, I bring that watch.

If I'm going somewhere rural or where diamond-studded watches are out of place, I wear a Baum et Mercier Ilea. It's a good watch, but without diamonds, and even though it has 18k gold on it, it's not a blingy watch.

And because :useless: I've attached pics...

I only take my stainless Cartier Tank. It goes where I go and it's always perfect! For parts of beach vacations, I might leave it in the room and just use my iphone to tell time.

Very much depends on where I'm traveling. Internationally, my Skagen stainless steel. I don't travel abroad with any costly jewelry. For domestic travel in most places it would be my Rolex, but for beach towns/summery destinations both a Rolex and a white ceramic.
