What to wear for daytime church wedding

I would like to figure out once & for all what dress I should be buying for an upcoming wedding I will be attending as a guest. Seems like whenever I have it pinned down as to what is appropriate or the norm, the next website I look at contradicts the last & so on & so forth. It seems like a "summery" floral dress is the way to go but not too sure. The wedding is in late September in Massachusetts, daytime wedding held at a church at 3pm with a hotel reception to follow at 5pm. Invite does not specify dress and I am going as a "plus 1" so do not know the bride/groom to ask them what would be appropriate. Not sure if I have any bookmarked, but I was possibly thinking a ruffly silk wrap dress? But here are a few dresses I have bookmarked (color may or may not apply) thus far (Note: budget for me is VERY low for this wedding. Preferably under $30-35). Sorry for so many links, but I'm really looking for best idea. Am I headed in the right direction? If so, anyone have suggestion on which one would work best? Which style/color scheme? :confused1: Thank you in advance for any help.

Well...I suppose upon further glancing through, maybe I didn't pick the best forum to post this on...although my motivation was that I found a similar one through this website which is what led me to it, that other post just didn't answer my specific question. So I suppose that's why my post is the only post getting read but not getting a single response  So....off to a forum that will help me out!

I like the first one the best. I would stay away from summery dresses for a Sept. wedding in Massachussetts. It could be cold you never know in the NE in Sept. I wouldn't take offense to no one answering your post. There are just a lot of dresses to look through. I pass over threads that take a lot of time to read sometimes if I am too busy.

I like this one the best

If you do choose one of the dresses without sleeves, I would suggest throwing on a cardigan. Usually churches are FREEZING!

Other affordable options are

one
two
three
four
five
six
