So I’m trending more towards understated bags and have some store credit. My current collection is below-

kelly 32 ghw red
Kelly 32 ghw gold
Classic jumbo ghw black
Medium flap ghw black
Givenchy Pandora large

I have a few non branded items as well.

looking at below-
Herbag 31
Lv speedy b 30 mono
Lv speedy b 30 empriente (new or old model)
Celine box
Celine sangle
Loewe puzzle

I’m 40ish overweight, mom of two you g ones and looking for a total revamp and live in the NorCal where everyone is in sweatpants.

which would u get?
thank u!

I'm not a fan of LV bags so I'll reject those Immediately.
The Herbag is tricky to get in and out of so conside
r that-have you thought of an Evelyne 31? just an easy X-body bag.
The Celine box is something I own and I brought it because it reminds me of the constance which I couldn't afford! Its a classic I never get bored with it.
I like the Sangle but I prefer the shape of the Evie .
The Puzzle I find too boxy sticky outy when worn.
Hope this helps!

If you are going to get a speedy, be sure to get the bandolier version, the empreinte versions are really nice. I would skip the loewe and celine options- I just don't love them personally.

I would check out other Hermes bags if you are wanting to use store credit.

If you are looking for a revamp have you considered fine jewelry? Your current bags are really great IMO. Maybe a new VCA piece?

Hermès is already well-established in your collection, so I'd forego the herbag. I love the Celine classic box bag, but you have several flaps already. The speedy is a silhouette you don't have represented, but I admit I prefer the look of the Loewe Puzzle over it. I don't have it in my collection, however, so the above reference to its sticky-outiness is something I can't speak to.

I say go nuts and get a gorgeous piece of jewelry.

Whatever you decide to do, I hope you post pictures.

Love these suggestions guys! I do like the box. But I worry about scratches so have to hunt for goat or liege. Wonder if the different leather makes it less classic. But the speedy seems more practical in general. The mono has such a small openning however hence tendency for the empriente. Burt the new version doesn’t have feet. The Kelly’s have spoiled me!

I wish I could do Jewellery. But my finger have grown two full sizes since wedding day!

I used to have the puzzle but found it slouched. Then realized after selling I could just have an insert! Ugh.

+1 for Sangle or Box - both are different shapes to what you currently have. I have the Box and it does scratch easily so you would have to be okay with that. I agree I wouldn't get that bag in a different leather, either.

I think a small-medium crossbody bag might be a great addition as you seem to gravitate towards larger shoulder bags or top handle (me too!). I personally really dislike the style of the Evelyne but something that is equally casual, understated, easy to use, and easily carried crossbody would be my choice. I have the Bottega Nodini (it's discontinued but I had it shipped to me from the outlet store where they still produce it) to serve that purpose. I also have a speedy B 30 and just don't really use it a ton -it's pretty loud, no matter what print you get it in.

ive been looking at the nondini! I was thinking of getting from Fashionphile but they seriously screwed me over so I don’t want to buy from them anymore. May I ask how much the nondini was at the outlets? I was also considering the interaccio pouch but it’s still quite price and not practical. So beautiful though!

I think it was $1199 at the outlet - 100% recommend going this route. The SAs at the Orlando outlet are so nice and helpful. I ordered remotely and the SA I worked with sent me tons and tons of photos, videos, etc. She even texts me now to update me on when they get new stock in. Better service than any other brand I've purchased from and I've bought lots more from other brands... I will say that the leather on the Nodini is soft and buttery and the shape sort of melts into your body. It's not a "carefree" bag that you can throw around but it's small enough and close to my body that I am not worried about it getting any wear. I think I just called up the Orlando outlet from googling their phone number and the SA I spoke with texted me photos like 20 mins later. I'm happy to PM you her contact info if you are interested in going this route!

You have a wonderful collection! It’s mostly classic styles, with the Pandora a bit more casual, and since you live in NorCal and want a revamp, I’d say another casual style bag by a classic designer.

The Loewe puzzle is boxy like your Pandora…have you looked at their Amazona? It’s kinda like a square Speedy and they’ve just reintroduced it in new colors and silhouettes.

Bottega Veneta is another designer I think would fit your asthetic…how about the Cassette or padded Cassette?

Hello, I love them all!

I am looking to buy a Celine seau sangle in Canada preloved. I cannot find it in black anywhere. Any suggestions?

I have found it in taupe but I see pics of taupe differ when i look online, some are light some are dark. I am looking for year round bag. What are thoughts on the Taupe seau sangle vs the black seau sangle? I wear alot of black- coat, shoes/boots.

I love my Celine Box, and think it is a star in my collection. It works with jeans and with dressier clothes, but it is not a go-anywhere bag, doesn't hold all that much, and does require some care in handling. The Single is also a great bag, and holds a ton, though I think it is very casual. I vote for the Box as long as its small capacity and need for some care won't bother you.
