Hello lovely ladies and gents,
I have about £1000 gift from hubby & myself to myself :) to spend on anything for my imminent BD. I am looking for ideas / suggestions or opinions. So far here are the things I narrowed it down to, but am open for any other brill ideas;

- LV alma bb vernis red (£1030)
- Chanel woc preferably in red (not sure how much exactly)
- Hermes belt and scarf OR clic clac (maybe a little more than £1k)

Would love to read your suggestions and opinions whatever it is. Even if it's the voice of reason telling to save my money :)
TIA

I would go and have a look at them all.

Start with Hermes. It's a great season for scarf design/cws. While I was buying mine this season there was a couple of newly weds and the wife was choosing a scarf as a souvenir of their special day/honeymoon. I have also bought H silks in commemoration of a special occasion for myself and others, the design and the cw can make the gift really personal. As for belts, there are some really interesting belt kit strap colours and interesting buckles atm. Belts are so versatile, even turn a plain black dress into a stunning smart and/or sexy LBD.

Just a warning though. Just an average (32mm) belt and 90 twill carre will take you up to £900-ish.

I vote Hermes, but only if you are used to wearing silk scarves and can incorporate it into your daily life. Overall I vote whatever you'll get the most practical use out of. :smile1:

Thank you for your input. If I go Hermes I would probably get more use out of the belt and bracelet. Silk scarves I love them but don't wear them that often. The thing I would get most use of is the LV alma bb as I need a small carefree everyday bag and I think it would be perfect :)

I'm not generally a big LV person but I think the Alma bb is adorable, especially the pomme vernis! Hard decision. I'll echo Papertiger and suggest visiting H first, but maybe they won't have exactly what you want (happens to me a lot :-/ ), then you know you could default to the Alma. ;)
