So I've saved up for my first Chanel... now it's time to buy it.

I don't want to look too confused walking into the Chanel boutique so I was hoping you guys can provide some insight!! Is everything going to be laid out on the shelves behind counters? Do I have to know exactly what I'm looking for (catalogue codes)? Would it be foolish to ask for different colors???
please help! IM SO EXCITED! :))))

Do you have a bag in mind? Even a picture of a couple of bags that you would really like to see. It really helps the SA if you come in with something in mind as you really don't want to appear to be wasting their time, kwim?

Also go when it is not busy that way you will not feel rushed and the SA can help you.

I was planning to start out with the classic flap in caviar... If all else fails I'll go with a black one since it's such a classic. I'm not sure about the sizing though... does it go from mini to m/l to jumbo?

Welcome to TPF! I actually did a little research on the Chanel website and on TPF before I went into the boutique. When the time came to make my purchase I was prepared and had narrowed down my likes list to two totes.

Just take your time at the boutique!!! this is a big purchase so you shouldn't feel rushed or nervous!!! Go with a good SA, and they will understand that this is your first time and you want to make sure you get the right bag! GL and I can't wait for your reveal!!!!!!

Anytime I've been at the Chanel store on Bloor Street it hasn't been busy at all. I've been on Saturdays during Christmas and long weekends too. If you don't find what you like there, remember that Holts down the the street also has a Chanel boutique on the second floor. Take your time and look!
