What to do with old cartier trinity ring?

I have a retired cartier trinity ring that is very symbolic to me so I ideally want to rework it so that I can wear it another way.

Was considering putting it on a chain and wearing it as a necklace? I looked at chains and have been comparing tiffanys vs cartier.. It's about $250 price difference. Do chains really matter? Was also contemplating on getting my Cartier SA to put it on one of those cords and make it into a bracelet? Or should I stack it with my new trinity ring?

What do you guys think? Has anyone worn their trinity rings as such - would love to see some model pics!!!

Pics please. I have no clue which trinity ring you have mentioned to. I only know cartier has changed a bit by engraving cartier name on new version, other than that I don't know they are any different

I'd opt for the cord. Either as a bracelet or necklace.
I think a chain would damage the ring long term, unless I'm not understanding how you would attach it?
I think a long cord would make a great necklace BTW.
Presuming you simply mean older trinity ring YOU have retired?

I don't plan to "retire" my Trinity ring but the idea of using it as a pendant, well, sounds like a great idea.

Please share pictures once you've made a decision!
