I sold gold from a bunch of pieces I don't wear anymore, and I have the loose stones. Aquamarine, tiny tiny diamonds, citrine, amethyst. What now?

I have a bunch of stones that I popped out of old settings that I sold for scrap too.
Also, I have stones that I purchased many years ago because I was on a gemstone addiction for a while. (sad, but true).
Anyways, I carried a pair of round tanzanites around for over 10 years and finally this year I had them made into a ring.
So don't be in a rush to remake them into jewelry or sell them. I just keep the other stones in my jewelry box and when the inspiration hits, you'll be ready to get a nice new piece!

I looked into using loose stones from gold I had sold as well, but it was a lot more expensive than buying something already made (from what I found out)- i.e. a ruby band ring was going to be $1k set in 14k gold, even w/ the stones in my possession.

I guess you could try to sell them as a lot on ebay or something? There are a lot of people that collect loose stones.
