So I know this thread may not go over very well with some ladies in this forum and I get it but I still wanted some advice if possible.

Last week, I ordered the Monogram Zippy wallet from Christmas animation. My first order got cancelled so then my husband tried and was successful. Out of fear that it may get cancelled again, I also ordered one with the intentions of returning 1 if both orders went through. Well they were both successful so now I was thinking about maybe selling 1 wallet to help fund other purchases with the profits.

I have never purchased with the intent of reselling as my collection is small but I figure this piece may be worth it. What do you guys recommend? And if you would consider reselling, what do you consider a fair markup? I am not looking to price gouge anyone

Zippy wallet is already close to 1k if you include sales tax if you live in US. They were last ones to be sold out online. So I think the chance of you making money on that is slim. Plus remember if you sell it through places like eBay it’ll cost you ebay fee and PayPal fee before you make a dime. This is not to mention buyer may send back used one after few weeks and eBay always stand with buyer so you will have no choice but to refund. Worse yet buyer can send back a fake! Then you will be screwed! The only way you can stay way from buyers like that, and you only need one to ruin your life, is to sell through places like therealreal or fashionphile. If you sell through them, you will be very lucky to get all your money back after their fees. With all the hassles and uncertainties, I would return it imo.
