What to do with 1ct diamond

I inherited a 1ct diamond ring and wonder how I can make the the ring look less like an ER? I'd love to find a flower type setting. Does it even matter as long as I wear it on my right hand?

how about a halo? i considered getting a small harry winston micropave engagement ring for my right hand. i also like your flower idea. harry winston's sunflower ring is so pretty:

You could remodel it or buy some rings to wear with it so it looks totally different.

An antique style "Shield" setting could work or maybe a gemstone halo ring--where the halo is sapphire or ruby.

I really love the idea of a coloured halo.
A flower setting could be pretty. However, if you don't want to change it, don't. To me, it wouldn't matter if it looks like an ER, I would just wear it on my right hand.

I like colored halos so i vote for that idea. They are hard to find though, i've been searching!

I think if you use colored stones in a halo or side accents (ala Tiffany 3-stone), it would make it less like a formal e-ring...

does it have to be a ring? a solitaire diamond pendant is nice too.

i have a solitaire pendant otherwise i would totally go that route.

In addition to the colored halo idea, maybe something a la Jacqueline Kennedy's emerald and diamond ring. Get an equally sized gemstone and put them in one ring like a cocktail ring almost.
