What sun damage on cream leather looks

I have a bag that is a number of years old and was unfortunately kept in a closet with a huge window and a thin shade.
I had no idea the damage sun can do especially to a cream colored patent leather bag, but by now it is a bright yellow.
Took some pictures in case anyone is curious and to caution you to be careful about sun!
You can see the inside of the flap and back of the strap and trim are closer to the original creamy color.

However, I still think this a pretty colour and still usable. My mother's pale blue patent leather Valentino turned yellow and that looked hideous, not salvageable/usable at all.

Oh no. That stinks. So sorry this happened. If you want to keep it you can use Angelus leather dye, and dye it a darker color, or have it dyed for you. I dye my patent leather shoes all the time when they get color transfer or anything. Just use a stripper first.

It's actually not that bad for summer I think , it changed pretty evenly so it looks like it was supposed to be yellow . Well at least that's what I tell myself lol
