What socks do you wear with designer sneakers?

So...I have several pairs of designer sneakers, but I'm always at a loss when it comes to socks. Most of my socks are like, Hanes no-show socks, but they're still a little too high for my liking.

What socks do you ladies wear? I'm looking for a good brand that won't show...or do you wear those heel liner-type things? Or no socks at all?

balega hidden comfort. i use them for working out too. they're very low cut and cushioned.

I wear those little liners you can't see at all. Nike makes them for sneakers like vans or converse and I have even thinner ones for flats if I need them

Thanks for the suggestion, would like to try these. Do they slip off your heel at all? I have tried so many different brands and they all slip.

No, they have those anti slip things on the inside of the heel and the model is really good. They never slip!

Keds and CushyToes (sp?) make a low cut ped and they have the gel piece at the heel so they don't slip. I wear them all the time with flats. They are not expensive and you can find them at the drug store.
