Quick update! New day, it's sunny outside and Terracotta is definitely not a Rust color...it's way too brown for what I was looking for. The matte black studs almost look weird against such a dark brown...I think with matte black hw the bag should either be black to keep the look subtle, or a lot lighter so that the studs pop.

And too the more I looked at Natalie's bag the more I decided I probably did want gold studs (I love her bag!). Amazon is sold out of the Racy with gold hw and so I ordered the Blood Red Affair with gold hw! It'll be here on Friday. :smile1:

I think the Affair is going to suit me better size-wise and I also think I'm going to prefer the gold studs. Amazon is sold out of the gold studded Affair in black which is a bit of a relief for me since I think my head would have exploded trying to decide between the two! :p It's definitely going to have to be love at first sight though because the bag is $75 more than the Racy...we shall see!

I'll take a quick outdoor pic of the Terracotta Racy before I pack it up to send back today though. Oh, but I did like the Racy much better with the straps doubled!

Thanks for the update! I'm convinced terra-cotta isn't for me but I'd love to see pix! I've looked at the affair too and look forward to seeing your reveal, the blood red and GHW will be gorgeous!

i'm BEYOND excited i grabbed this baby the minute she was listed on the bonz!! haha i don't think it was on there for a full 24 hours! :p so excited for my first MAC with siggy hw! whoo hoo! i'm now official banned from RM bags until the BBW with red zipper track SO goes into production.

i'm a total minkaholic!!!!!! :lawl:

I feel ya... everytime I say I'm going to lay off, something else pops up on the bay, bonz or rm.com to distract me...

Good choice!! I saw it and contemplated, but I am a silver hardware junkie and just couldn't! That is a fab bag, quite elusive too! You will love it! :smile1:
