No...I don't know what the holdup was yesterday, but the bag wasn't delivered! It is however on a truck and "Out for Delivery" at this very moment! :smile1:

I too am really anxious to see this color IRL! As long as I like the actual style of the bag, I think the Terracotta color and the matte black studs/hw are going to be an instant fave of mine.

I've been looking for a bag in this color for a very long time but nothing I found previously was quite right, I'm really hoping this bag is just what I've been looking for.

I'll let ya know as soon as it arrives...I hope my UPS guy comes earlier today than he did yesterday. I hate waiting and it seems like I've been waiting for this bag forever even though it's only been since Friday! :p

I have to admit that I've never been so conflicted about a bag before. I was prepared for the size of the bag (or so I thought), it was all about color for me.

To begin. I'm 5' 5" and the bag comes down to my knee when it's on my shoulder. And since I rarely wear a bag (esp. one this big) crossbody, that's a bit of an issue. But not a deal breaker (I think it would be awesome if you're 5' 6" or taller). The color. I'm not going to totally dismiss it just yet since it was getting dark once UPS finally dropped the bag off, and it's now way too dark to really judge, but I dunno. It's much darker and a lot more brown than I was hoping for. I was hoping it was more of a brownish red...but from what I'm seeing right now, there's not much red going on. And then there's the hw. It kind of looks like poppy seeds! The small dark studs all over the darker than I had hoped for leather...sigh.

As for the shape of the bag, it appears to be the perfect size for a laptop! :laugh: Personally, I think it needs a bit of a "Nikki slouch", which I did to take away some of the boxiness and that looked a lot better. I also think it's a leather that will break in beautifully and be soft and smooshy in no time...it's already nice and soft.

It's the color...I'm going to wait until tomorrow and check it out in bright sunshine before I make a final decision about the bag because I really want to like it...and there's a lot I do like about it...I LOVE the flap! So easy to get in and out of. And once I gave it the slouch, I really liked the shape. It's really all about the leather and hardware colors and that will all depend on how it looks in daylight. So, even though I have the bag...I'm still not totally sure about the color! :D

No, I did not try that! Thank you! I never double up my MAC straps, I like where they hit, but for this bag that will probably be perfect!

I think if I don't love the Terracotta color I'm going to get it in blackout black since I do like the bag a lot and it's not like anything I already have.

Rust...exactly! That's what I was hoping for, but the more I look at the bag I just don't see it being red enough for me even in daylight. Ya never know though...we'll see soon enough!

I think I'm going to go ahead and order the black one tonight so that I can compare them both and decide which to keep because I do really like the style a lot.

And here ya go! This isn't me of course, but I found these pics to be really helpful. My guess is that Natalie is around 5' 5" to 5" 6". It's a pretty long bag, but I haven't yet doubled the strap as Jojon suggested...I think for me that's going to be perfect!

Thanks. I want the color Natalie is wearing! It really is a beautiful bag! When you try the chain doubled please let me know if it feels comfortable. Love the design of the bag. Is it pretty light-weight?

Actually, it is surprisingly lightweight for the size of the bag.

And I know what you mean about Natalie's bag...after I got the Terracotta w/gm, I wondered if I would prefer a Racy with tiny gold studs. They really pop against the leather, both in black and the red! I just don't know if I would want that much gold chain. Plus, I wouldn't pay full price for the gold stud version compared to $225 for the gm bags on Amazon. I just really wish the Terracotta had been the perfect color...maybe there will be a miracle come tomorrow!

Just pulled the trigger on a Dusty/Silver spot Steady on ebay! I'm so excited, loved the bag on Rachel McAdams and am hoping its large enough to put a 11" netbook in... anyone else still have this bag?
