It has been awhile since I last initiated a thread and since I have recently found myself obsessing over designers that are not as popular, I thought it would be interesting if anyone else shares this sentiment. I have not owned a Longchamp in at least a decade, but I saw the new color in Dahlia and I am absolutely obsessed! In addition, I am also eyeing a Faure Le Page piece, as well as a Strathberry.

Kinda been nuts over deadly ponies, NZ, for few years.
Now they outsource & use non-Kiwi materials.
Plus I had quality issue with last "made in India" scarf bought from them--which dp basically blew off.
So, losing the thrill.:hrmm:

Current obsession is osprey, US company.
Not fashion handbags, but adventure gear.
Basically, loved the bird logo. So bought stuff.
*Knit cap kept my skull warm, hiking Jotunheimen Mountains.
*Toiletry kit very convenient design, with hanging hook.
*Packing cubes spared my clothes from airport security toss & rummage.
*Transporter 40 duffel fit into plane overhead bins. Plus withstood Scandinavian rain. And packed all I needed for trip, without checked luggage.

So, definitely a fan. Trawling for cool new tidbits.

I’ve been on a Givenchy, YSL and Chloe spree since LV has had some inventory and quality issues. In the past month however, I’m loving Longchamp again. I’ve bought a couple of Le Pliage bags lately and I’m stalking some crossbodies but I really love the practicality of the Le Pliage. The Dahlia color is absolutely stunning and I am not a pink bag fan. It’s a beautiful color. I’m actually resisting buying another LP as I type this. Do I really “need” ANOTHER LP??

Longchamp, Lumi, Diane von Furstenberg, Liebeskind, those are some of my favorite brands. I don't feel comfy paying for a name rather than quality.
Longchamp is probably going to be a forever love - I've been into LC for over 10 yrs and my feelings haven't cooled down. I own so many LC pieces and only have had one dud, which was replaced fast as a lightning. They produce awesome quality and classic pieces with an added bonus of being a family owned business so I know I'm not feeding the ultra rich bosses of LVMH or Kering but a family that has stuck to what they know and not given up to the temptation of making a quick buck. Respect.
While LC is nowadays also producing high end bags they haven't forgotten their roots - you can still get your hands on a bag for waaaay less than 100 euros. That's not something you see much of nowadays!

And while on the subject of high end bags; I'm silently obsessing over a Madeleine. Either Small or Crossbody size. Don't tell anyone that I'm considering getting rid of a couple of Mulberry bags to make room in my closet - nobody would believe!
