I bought some Loewe denim fabric from my fave online fabric shop. And decided to make a bag with it. The selvedge had the words Loewe 1846 written on it, so I wanted to incorporate that into the design of the bag. Plus it looks too good to be hidden in a seam. I’m really happy with how it turned out. I lined it in a different but equally good quality stripe denim fabric for a lovely bit of contrast to the dark denim. And it can be worn two ways, crossbody or as a shoulder tote. What do you think, does it qualify as designer? 😂😉

I don’t know it’s far better craftsmanship than some of the designer bags you see

Of course it counts, for a good part of their lifetime most of the houses we’re selling patterns and fabric for people to make their own Dior dresses so it’s a part of a tradition.

I think it’s great Loewe are still selling the raw materials.

I love your response, thank you for that  . I have to say I was surprised to find this available, and it sold out quickly. I'm so glad I bought some.
