What kind of wedding ring would look good my engagement ring?

I would custom make a band that matchs the sides to go next to it... well, honestly I would make one for BOTH sides, but I'm crazy like that! lol
Wow, that is an amazing ring. I would be afraid of taking away from it - it's so unique! Something thin and plain would look good, IMO.
Also wondering if I should just switch the engagement ring to the right hand instead of wearing it with the wedding ring?

Are there any good online stores to look at wedding bands besides Tiffanys (already have 5 on my wish list from there!)?
I would not pair a band with it, I think it would take away from the design. If you really want a band, I'd pick one to wear alone on the other hand. Just my opinion!
I kind of agree with prior post that a band would take away from your e-ring. I absolutely love the third band and was looking at it on the Tiffany website the other day. I do like the idea of wearing the band and e-ring on opposite hands, if you still want to have a band. This is kind off topic, but the dog in your picture/avatar is so adorable, what kind of dog is it.
That is a Jack Russell puppy! I also love the third ring. I notice a lot of people saying "if you still want a band".....is it common not to have a wedding ring and only an engagement one?
I also have a split shank style but I'm not a fan of the "matchy matchy" styles such as the custom wedding bands that "hug" the shank. I'm going for this in platinum:

i'd go for a split wedder. i have a oddly shaped ring but didn't want to have a wedder shaped to the e-ring in case i wanted to wear the wedder on it's own. i only wanted one band but DH and the jeweller convinced me to get 2

Is a split wedder a band on either side of the engagement ring? It is already a wide band, do you think two more bands would be too much on the same finger?
Id go with either two really thin plain bands (like these: http://www.etsy.com/shop/JewelerOnTheRoof?section_id=6381152) with one on either side or two really thin diamond bands to match the shank, one on either side. With that design, I would prefer something to create symmetry.
Wear the e-ring on your right hand and get a diamond band to wear alone on the left. The e-ring is so beautiful and unusual it would be a shame to add anything to it.
