What jewellery do your children have and do you borrow?

My mother borrows my jewelry! She is not a jewelry person but for special occasions she will borrow a cross from me, or a Tiffany key, or a gold ring or a bracelet. And I'm a guy. But my chains are all 18" and 20" and a lot of what I buy looks unisex, solid metal and simple pendants. Curious - do any other men on this forum have mothers borrowing their jewelry, or do women have brothers and father borrowing theirs?

Everyone in my family - from my cousins (two men and a woman, college age as am I) to my aunts like to try on my jewelry! Especially when I get a new piece. I've always thought this was normal. I only let my mom borrow pieces out of my sight because I trust her 100%. Because I'm the family archivist everyone leaves me photos and jewelry, so I have women's jewelry I'd never wear or pawn which are always up for grabs from any women in the family.

Well, my daughters are young, so not much. but my 9 year old does have an adorable hedgehog Pandora bead that she bought with her Christmas money, that I keep telling her I'm going to swipe :)

I borrow my moms jewelry all the time....and not give it back for 5 years LOL. She's completely fine with it, as long as I don't lose it.

I once borrowed some diamonds studs from her (for 5 years) and when I gave them back she asked me if e studs have always been that small! Time for an upgrade mama :graucho:
