Hello gals,

What is your station in life....
Using the Marketing basis known as Good, Better and Best.....
Please don't be offended by this.... I am currently studying marketing and I wanted to have some fun (with such a boring uni subject)....

GOOD - lower middle class
Watch - Omega all steel / Tag Heur / must de cartier
E-ring - 0.5ct
Hand bag - Coach / Loewe

BETTER - upper middle class
Watch - Rolex Steel and gold Datejst / Cartier Santos / Cartier Roadster
E-ring - 1ct +
Hand bag - Louis Vuitton / Gucci / Prada

BEST - old money
Watch - Patek Philippe / Rolex 18K All gold president / 18K all Gold Cartier
E-ring - 2ct +
Hand bag - Hermes Birkin or Kelly

I don't think you can classify people according to their watch, jewelry, or bag. Not all those things are important to all people and the grouping seems to assume that.

I don't even fit into your chart for example.

I am not married, so no e-ring, I don't carry Coach, LV, Gucci, Prada or Hermes. I prefer smaller labels/designers and for watches, my watch brand is not even on your list. LOL- I guess I am lower than "lower middle class" then?

ETA: I am wondering if this poster has been with us before!
