I own Speedy b25 and Speedy b30 in de. I love them both and use both depending on where I am going. My b25 gets used for quick trips out/errands or shopping in Central London. My 30 size gets used when I have to carry more. I have actually packed it now to use as a carry on bag as I will be travelling tomorrow. I will use it on the plane and then during the day when I reach my destination. If I had to choose 1 Speedy it would be Speedy b30 in de.
I have:
DA 25 Classic that I use a strap on the handles with. Mainly for summer/spring or light clothing.
DE 30B that I adore as a wet weather bag/dressy bag. Looks great with charms. 30 is a great size for me. It's rarely full but I like the option of having space to carry scarf,hat, jumper in winter.
Mono 30B for mostly casual use. Love the size and the soft strap is very comfortable to wear.
Mini HL baby speedy Mono for short trips to the supermarket, dog walking, as a cute purse.
I love the 30 size best. 25 is quite small but still fits a lot. IPad mini fits in 25 and full size ipad fits in 30.
The SpeedyB is much more convenient to carry. The DE looks better in a B because it has extra hardware. The DE B models also hold their shape better.
If you want a speedy don't wait too long. They just brought out a newer model which some like and some don't. I don't so all my speedy's are the original models that the boutique tracked down for me.

Been eyeing a speedy 30 in mono canvas for some time, but can't decide whether to get the B or not. 😕
I ummed and ahhed over this too for a while. I originally didn't like the vachetta strip down the side. But honestly after buying it in the B model I'm very glad I did. It's so nice to carry on your shoulder. It doesn't bother me having extra vachetta because the mono SpeedyB looks very nice as the patina develops
I get plenty of compliments with my SpeedyB's. It's really worth paying extra for the strap. Google some pics of people carrying it. That's what sold me on it
