All of them! It depends on the occasion. If I had to choose only one though, it would be hand held.

I'll start off by saying the hobo is my favourite; they're often larger bags that are both comfortable and practical, not to mention I love it when they slouch around me like a hug.

Light-weighted structured shoulder bags, i.e. LV Brea, Chanel flap bag.

Structured bags to me are more elegant and formal, and I need the hands free option.

I picked tote but it is really shoulder/tote/hobo.

I like simple bags. They have to be carried on the shoulder. I like hobo for comfort but my Metis is a black hole that is hard to get into (but it is so comfy and looks great!). I loved my old Totally. Best bag ever, for me.

So basically, I like easy access bags that are carried on the shoulder. Flat straps only.

I've noticed that a few posts have mentioned flap bags as their favourite; sorry about that, I couldn't list every possible style, but it would be reasonable to list them under 'shoulder'.

As a mom I have to have a cross body bag. Used to be handheld only, but I've changed.

I love looking at hobo, shoulder bags silhouette design on women bags.

Top handle! Straps and long handles hurt my shoulder and neck due to previous injury. It took a while to get used to but I love them now.
