Top handle! Straps and long handles hurt my shoulder and neck due to previous injury. It took a while to get used to but I love them now.

This is me as well!!! I can only carry top handles now or my shoulder and back kill me! It took a long time to get used to these as I was a shoulder bag girl for a zillion years!!! I still get pangs of jealousy when a beautiful shoulder bag passes me!!!!

Oh it was definitely a surprise when I came home with the Metis after going in for a totally lol. BUT I do wear it crossbody with an extra mono strap I bought with it so maybe it still counts as crossbody...

i have grown to really love crossbody bags. they just make life so much easier. having said that, i still also love my totally, speedies and neverfull. i voted crossbody tho.

Some styles, such as the Artsy and Delightful, can easily be handheld or worn on the crook of your arm. Where there is a will there's a way!

Flap bags, Top handle with strap option i.e..SpeedyB. Not a big fan of cross body but like to be able to at least throw on my shoulder if necessary.

I prefer hobo style when I am out and about with my kids, because I need my hands free. I also like the style because it almost conforms to your body. When going out solo/at night I prefer top handle or clutch.
