I think that the red is actually more versatile than the blue--I can carry my red speedy with about 3/4 of my wardrobe. I do love black epi, but I think that red is more special, esp. for your first epi piece. Let us know what you decide!!!! Oh and btw, I have the 25, and it's perfect for an everyday bag :o)

I love Lilac, Mocha, and definitely Red!
Actually, Epi is my most favorite LV line
Most of my LV bags are Epi
I've no problem with Epi and I didnt take care them better than other LV lines.
I cheer for Speedy...it's always classy...you'll be happy with it for sure!

btw, what is the difference btwn myrtille and toledo blue?

ajamesgrly, myrtille is closer to blueberry in colour, whereas toledo blue is a slightly darker version of the colour of the water in your avatar.
