what is your favorite color for a purse?

Classic Black

Though sometimes I wish I have pick different color just to have lil variety and excitement on my handbag collection. But for a guy who love handbags black is the most obvious route to take.

I've been in olive green phase for a long time. It compliments much of my wardrobe & gets many compliments, regardless of bag. I'll always love classic black bags as well. (Deep red is my fav color, but really doesn't work on me for the large bags I favor)

It used to be brown (mahogany, camel, etc.). Now it's blue (any muted shade). My Coach chambray borough bag is surprisingly versatile. It's a grayish blue - medium tone - and seems to go with just about everything except maybe bright turquoise.

the bags I notice on other people are usually brown
I like black too. I think certain bags look better in certain colors.
For instance I like Rebecca Minkoff morning after bag in black. For some reason this particular bag isn't as appealing to me in brown.
I guess maybe for a more casual bag like a hobo style, I prefer brown and for a satchel black.
