What is your favorite black crossbody bag?

Hi fellow purse lovers!

I'm currently on the hunt for a black crossbody bag and finding it quite hard even though it's such a basic item! Hoping you ladies can help with some suggestions :)

I want one that is compact and can fit my essentials which are a small cardholder, a key holder, an iphone 7+, and a flat sunglasses case (I have the LV one.)

I'd prefer something in the 1-2 thousand dollar range, but price is not a main consideration. I just want something that is well made because I will be using this sucker everyday!

Definitely Gucci Soho Disco, but if you're the type to want to organize small items like those, what about a Celine Trio? Mulberry Clifton follows the same style, too. And speaking of Mulberry, I'd also suggest the Mulberry Lily.

Yes, I love my Pouch, too! Don't carry it every day because since joining tPF I've developed bag rotation anxiety :panic: :smile: but every week at least. Unfortunately they're discontinued but a very few can still be found new.

boopeep, it all depends so much on your personal style. I think a little black x body bag is a must and there are so many to choose from. I've got a bit of tunnel vision when it comes to brands so I'll just recommend two of my favourites, the Proenza Schouler Pouch and the Balenciaga Hip.

If you're willing to go preowned, I love my Chanel Coco Boy. It was never a very popular style, and it's pricier than you mentioned, but I'm commenting about it anyway because I also don't carry very much, and I love the way my items fit inside the bag. Nothing feels crowded, but I never feel like I have to "dig" for anything, either.

Mine is black, and I really like the tone of it, too, not too saturated or warm/cool.

Do you know if there's anyway I can remove the tassel off the Gucci? Not sure I'm loving that.

Oo the coco boy looks lovely. I'll start prowling on the preowned market :)

Some of the newer Gucci Sohos don't have the tassel. Not sure about the black color but definitely some of the other ones.

Would be my mini falabella.
I also like my Gucci Soho disco but I don't find it fits as much as people say unless I just carry too much. I take that when items are minimal and I take the mini falabella when I need extras like sunglasses.
