What is your fav bag that can be carried open?

I recently down sized. After carrying NF GM/MM for a decade I have successfully moved into Noe BB! Yay! I love the smaller bag and have been considering adding an Alma or PM. However not sure I can do without the option to carry the bag open and throw a book, bottle, scarf or light jacket on top. What other bag options work well open?

I have the Noé GM and always wear it open. I love it. I also have the NF GM so of course that's always open. But I typically wear it when I travel so I'll put a scarf on top, just to keep the contents more protected.

I have done with my Speedy 35. I actually like how it looked when it was hand held and zippers were left open.

I have 2 Alma BBs and I never close them while wearing crossbody. But I wouldn’t say it’s the safest either lol. I definitely would if I’m in a crowded area. I don’t worry about stuff falling out partly because the sides of my bag insert comes up pretty high (if that makes sense). I have also had ppl telling me that my bag was open. Lol. I will not close it no matter what (as long as I’m in an area that I feel safe to do so) since there is no way I am opening and closing my Almas every time I get my phone in and out while chasing after 2 little kids but that’s just me . I am so in love with both of my Alma BBs for my lifestyle!

I recommend Speedy B25 in empriente. It’s the perfect size in my opinion and looks great open.

I wear both Alma bb and alma pm open. I never zip them. The opening does not gap open so it’s pretty safe. Easy to reach in and get my stuff too. The Montaigne bbis another one that I throw stuff in without zipping. Only the important wallet stays in the middle zip compartment.

I zip nothing. Come to think of it, most of my bags are open. I don’t zip my loop or any of my speedys.
