What is this stamp?

Hi all.


I purchased a black multicolor Annie mm bag from Fashionphile which we all know only sell authentic designer bags, but I noticed that there is a brown encircled V stamp on the heat stamp inside the bag. I own many LV bags and I am 100% sure this bag is authentic. Does anyone know what the stamp means? Please see photo.

I *think* (because I believe I saw it on one other thread) that it means an LV SA originally bought it, and it's to make sure they could't return/refund at a different store. Not 100% on that.

It was purchased by an LV employee...
