one of the customers at a store i used to work in would come in with this small hermès messenger bag. it was only about 8" L x 6" H x 3" deep, with a thin strap. it was red leather, and the only decoration was a large "H" inside of an oval. the H and oval were made of open, pierced holes in the leather itself. when i saw it, it was always open...i don't know if it closed inside with a snap or zipper or nothing, but it definitely didn't have any external flaps or covers. does this ring a bell for anyone? what is it called? i tried to look in the hermès boutique here but didn't see anything like it.
