What is this bag?

Today while I was at the mall, I noticed several ladies carrying a patent two tone handbag. I totally forgot to take pictures of the bag. But the bag was patent and the colors would be for example a black fading to a silver. Does anyone know what bags these are.

there's a bunch of ombre patent bags right now.. from prada, l.a.m.b, elliot lucca, charles david, nine west, express, etc.. is it a tote/hobo/satchel? two handles/one handle?

I was at Dillard's yesterday, and Maxx New York had a whole rack of bags that sound just like you described....black fading to silver. But they also had about 4 or 5 other colors, like red fading to pink, and orange fading to yellow, and I think there was a green one that faded into some other color, too. I think they were in the low $100 range, and they were patent.
