  1. Hello,

I am curious to know what are the materials that are use to do the "canvas" or "toile enduite"... does anybody know?

    thanks
  2. I looked it up and it's "coated canvas" in French  (toile enduite=coated canvas)
  3. yes but coated with what?

I would like to know
  4. ^I read your post too fast :Push: I think some of it is described in the LV book, at least the beginnings "The invention of PVC was a real revolution. Coating linen or cotton fabrics with the new product preserved their suppleness, increased their durability, and kept the fabrics from breaking when folded or manipulated." p264 LV The birth of modern luxury

It could have changed since the beginnings though.
  5. Buaaa I am sad that is just PVC :S that's a cheap and dangerous material
