What is spazzalato leather ??

Am unware of this leather ? is it durable and does it scratch easily .

E-W usually means East West and is a shape rather than a reference to the leather type. It means the bag will be wider than it is tall like this one.

Spazzalato is very shiney, rather like patent. I believe that it does scratch.

This is my crimson spazz but the regular bays. It also came in e/w. It is shiny, mine hasn't scratched yet but it bashes easily. I love this bag. I baby it very much in terms of making sure it doesn't get knocked about. It's fine in the rain. However it's my first and last spazz.

TBH and it's only a personal opinion no way could I again pay the same for a spazz bag as an nvt/darwin/natural smooth/soft matte leather one .

I hope you get a variety of opinions though umamanikam.

I have the regular bays ,but one of the retail shop has the east west in spazz leather in offwhite .I am uncertain as i want a east west and also the offwhite color .The leather am so undecided .so hoping for some input on it .

^ I had the spaz on the Maggie, and I have to say I actually liked it, but I did get the bag at 50 percent discount. I would have to say I would not personally ever pay full price for this particular leather!!!
It is soft and shiny tho, really nice

I have the east west bayswater in crimson. got it on sale, and I have used it some. The size is perfect, also works on the shoulder. So far no problem at all with the leather. But I have been somewhat careful with it though.

I always believe spazzalato leather is bycast leather cos it's easy to clean and maintain...

I've got a spazzalato leather notebook cover which I adore. It hasn't scratched at all, but I am very careful. It is beautifully smooth.
