^^I'm trying to figure out what it is. I hope Corey checks this thread as she has several older hobos and might know! Posting pics one more time! I was told it's only two years old - but that can't be right!

The leather looks like the Pebbled one used in 2001 but the HW is pewter!

^^It's a suede-like leather, Here's one RDC sold - it gives you a clear idea of the suede'ish surface. I've looked for a black RH hobo for so long - but I think I should hold out for my hearts desire.

I can't quite make sense of the leather. Has anybody here handled this kind of leather? Is it soft and silky? This hobo looks a little stiff.

I agree Beaux, it's better to hold out for something you truly love. You'll find that elusive fbh, I am sure!

This is a black monk leather first. It is kind of like a mix of suede and leather. Very cool with pewter HW. I was told by Corey of RealDeal and Kaymonto that it is from 2001 or 2002. Here is a picture. I can take a few more if anyone is interested of my first, but I really can't say about the hobo/messenger. If she says she bought it two years ago, that would not compute:

Here is more of the monk first. This orig. came with the long strap, but it was lost by the person who sold it to me. I use my 04 pewter HW black first strap (which is of course shorter) with this bag.
