  1. Hi ladies, i am new to the balenciaga forum and have some questions on the bags. What is a "first" bag and what year were those produced? what is the difference between that and a part time or city? thanks!

  2. When I started investigating the different styles of bags, I found the Reference Library a huge help, I spent hours looking at the different styles and wondering which would be the best for my first bbag. Here is a link.

  4. Hi, the First bag is one of the oldest bags from the Balenciaga motorcycle line. In 2001, the earliest version had "flat brass" (a different type of hardware) and came in different leathers as well. Starting 2003, the style came in pewter hardware, but was quickly phased by out by brass hardware by the start of 2005.

Information like dimensions and prices for different Balenciaga styles can be found here: http://forum.purseblog.com/balenciaga-reference-library/dimensions-size-model-style-numbers-prices-all-balenciaga-144151.html

A full list of all the colors Balenciaga has produced over the years can be found here: http://forum.purseblog.com/balenciaga-reference-library/balenciaga-color-information-by-season-144822.html

Like shop2drop1 said, the Reference Library is a great place to start -- there are lots of pictures-only threads that are separated by seasons, colors, and styles!

    Welcome to Balenciaga!
