What is a B-Bag?

Sorry for my ignorance -- I am completely clueless and out of the loop when it comes to what's "In" right now! :shame:

Jill on "The Real Housewives of NY" mentioned B Bags on a recent episode and I've seen references to them here on tPF. Is this the name of the brand or a certain style from another designer?

Yep, Balenciaga. But in the Real Housewives, Jill was actually saying "Bea" bag, which I guess is short for Beatrice Amblard. She used to work for Hermes but came out with her own line.

For me (us, here) it's Balenciaga, but I think officially it would be that Fendi a few years back with the enormous patent buckles?
