I looked at it again and it's a solid feeling piece, but it's not heavy enough to feel like a solid piece of metal. I'm guessing that maybe it's some sort of a solid material that is heavy enough to feel pretty solid(like resin?), and then clad and crimped with a metal(maybe just paint)layer on the outside. Maybe it's just resin with a shiny layer of paint. LOL I don't know.:lol:

Thanks SSSSM :). I was concerned that it’s actually made of thin gold Mylar and it will pop :lol:. Doubt I can even get it at this point. But thanks for getting back to me :)

Inaugural use of my new Bvlgari Serpenti Cuore 1968 Top Handle (inspired by a vintage watch) to meet girlfriends for dinner at The Colony hotel last night. They have a Dolce & Gabbana boutique as in the lobby so that was fun!

I ordered this bag back in January and finally went to pick up from flagship boutique in Paris (which was incredible) over Easter. Had also ordered in red but despite being promised that they ordered and were holding both bags for me, that proved not to be the case. Of course pink was my top choice anyway. :love:
