What handbag do you carry to weddings?

My friends have started getting married and I'd love some reference before I start attending lots of weddings!

I usually bring a clutch wristlet. Something small and easy to carry. The wristlet allows me to loop it easily on my wrist if I need to take quick photos or multitask in some manner.
Not really a fan of having a bag on my shoulder or crossbody when I'm moving around playing games unless it's a micro or tiny bag that lays close to the body and doesn't move around much. That I can see as a viable option as well!

I've carried my Chanel wallet on chain as well as my YSL Kate bag to weddings. I don't wear them crossbody but I like the option of being able to wear them on my shoulder if needed. I tuck in the chain if I want to hold it in my hand like a clutch. I also have the Bottega Veneta Knot bag, and the Dior Promenade bag (both are discontinued now but the Knot might still be available at BV outlets), and both work well as wedding bags too.

It depends on the type of wedding but my general preference is to wear a clutch (which may or may not include a delicate chain strap).

I have a Kate Spade WOC type purse that’s gold metallic that I’ve been dying to use. The chain is detachable so it can be worn like a clutch. But I haven’t been to a wedding since the pandemic began .

A bag like the YSL Uptown Pouch or their Uptown Chain Wallet is also good. I have a glittery silver envelope clutch that I wear all the damn time lol. Weddings, clubbing, nice dinners, you name it. Looks like the YSL but it’s not designer and it holds a bit more.

A Bottega Venetta inspired pouch in a satin material is nice. I have one that’s vintage with a clasp and kisslock opening.

A mini tote style bag like the Lady Dior would also be nice. I’m hoping to get something like this soon.

I actually carry a tiny no name gold clutch bought second hand. It goes with almost everything! I used to carry a Chanel classic but it was more limiting with outfits.

Depends on what I'm wearing and what kind of occasion the wedding is. I have a Guess Silver Shrine metallic clutch which is one of my favorites. Sometimes, if I know there's a lot of dancing happening I'll go for something I can carry crossbody like my DKNY Sofia.

I usually use a clutch that would best match my outfit. I can wear my LV Monogram Lin Anne Sophie in navy or black Gucci satin and crystal clutch, or LV Sunset Boulevard in Violette, or Mark Cross croc embossed envelope clutch.

I wear whichever bag I have that matches my dress! The last wedding I attended I wore a gold fabric Loeffler Randall bag.
Love it, especially for the price, I bought the matching shoes and I want a couple more sets in other colors!
