What gold color for DBTY?

I recently ordered a BGD platinum pendant for me and my mother is going to give me $450 towards a DBTY for DD. I don't mind putting a few hundred towards it since it will be a forever gift but not sure what color gold I should get. Any suggestions and if you recommend a color should I do 14KT or 18 KT. I love the idea of going with BGD so in the future it can be upgraded.

Or, if anyone has another idea for a jewelry present, I am open to suggestions...

I'm biased towards rose gold. I have a BGD DBTY pendant in rose gold and it's beautiful.

I think you should do platinum or 18k yellow gold. Imho those are classic metals.

I would go for either platinum or 18k rose gold. Platinum is more durable though, so if you tend to be rough on your jewellery, pick platinum.

I went with platinum for mine but wanted to spend a little less for dd but since platinum is more durable I shuld just go with it. It issomehti get that she will have forever, too.

I have a platinum DBTY bracelet and necklace from WF, but I am not sure I'd do platinum for a child because her wrist may grow unless she is now a teenager. Do either yellow gold or rose gold look good with her skin tone? Of course, you could do white gold and then it could always be worn with platinum later.

I have platinum DBTY also... I forget it's there and yank on it sometimes and it hasn't let me down! Tough as nails and so pretty with the sparkly diamond

Platinum or 18k yellow gold or rose gold, depending on what works with your skin tone. I'm partial to yellow gold.
