What gel color for travel?

I have two trips in the next few weeks and I always get a gel manicure when I travel. I usually go for red like OPIs Big Apple Red (always flattering), but I’m wondering if you have any recommendations? Maybe a neutral or a dark shade? What do you usually wear when you travel?
The first trip is to the countryside with touristic places to visit, very sunny, and the second trip is to a big metropolis where it’s cold.

I don't do gel nails but I would opt for a light neutral during your time away
& that is usually what I opt for unless I know I can get a mani when I'm away

Agree with above. Neutral, bc growth or chips show less. Custom gel; I get something slightly pink with the smallest amount of barely visible sparkle, but definitely not opaque. If you want something super natural, you could buff. Gel is more durable, and I prefer not to try new hair or nail places when I go abroad. Safe travels

When I'm traveling I like to go for colors that can match all my outfits like light/soft neutrals, softer pinks and sometimes lavender. But if I'm going to a beach destination, I love bright colors and sparkles.

I concur with everyone else: a soft neutral is less likely to show chips and will go with all outfits. I suggest OPI Tickle My France-y, Somewhere Over the Rainbow Mountains or Dulce de Leche.

I like the SNS powder/dip. My nails grow fast but if I get them short, they can last 3 weeks
