What fits in the Mini Bearn wallet?

Hi everyone! I’m starting to look at Hermes wallets to replace my Chanel o-zip coin purse, and I’m considering the mini Bearn. I’d like to know what fits inside because it seems hard to find information on the mini size and we all know it’s tough to see in person!
If you own a mini Bearn, could you tell me how you use it and what fits? I’m specifically looking to know if you can fit bills inside and if so how folded so they need to be (once, twice)?
Thanks!

I just returned a rose poupre one I purchased on the H website because despite loving the leather, I did not like the way bills folded in half an slotted behind the coin purse sat. I carry very little (3 cards, cash and coins if I get them as change) and it ruined the flat sleekness of the wallet for me. I am currently using a Calvi instead, but then I just throw the change in the bottom of my bag, which is not ideal. Here are some pics I took before I sent it back. I had maybe 8 bills plus 3 cards, no coins in it. I really wanted to love it.

Hope this helps.

I used my chanel ocase to death and was looking at a compact wallet to give it a rest. Bought this Silkin wallet last week and I love it and it's more functional than my ocase due to the compartments.
Has 4 credit card slots, a small zip for a few coins if needed (I usually use my LVIMG_20200825_180317_007.jpgIMG_20200825_180317_013.jpgIMG_20200830_120618.jpgIMG_20200825_181004.jpg round coin purse) and still has gives to hold folded cash. I highly recommend and the price point compared to the mini bearn wallet.

I’m considering the Bearn mini wallet as well. I’ve seen the YouTube video posted and I was a bit surprised by how bulky it was, but she did stuff it quite a bit. I usually carry about 4 cards regularly. I wanted to get this wallet because I liked the option of the coin pocket for random change. Now I’m worried about how stuffed it’ll be.

I also recently bought the Bearn compact in rose confetti and sesame verso. I find that the leather is VERY stiff and have to wrestle to get the cards out... does anyone else have this experience? Does it get better over time?

Just picked up this mini Bearn wallet in Bamboo. I've been looking for a long time for something this size which also gave an option to hook my key fob on so they don't get separated. Plan to use this for travel or going out with minimal cards. I put 3 cards in the snap pocket and 1 in front slot. Bills fit more easily on that side than behind the snap pocket but you could definitely get several more cards in there and the closure will tighten it up. I don't plan to put coins there unless totally necessary. This was probably my most impulsive H purchase to date especially since the size to cost ratio of this wallet is a bit ridiculous and it was the last one in store so not even totally "fresh". Yet weirdly no regrets and I peeled that sticker off in a hurry so now I know what that "heart singing" feeling is. Really love this color. Hope these pics help others.

I just got this same wallet for Mother’s Day (rose confetti, same interior as yours) and was going to suggest it to OP! I loooove mine and highly second this recommendation!! I put my license in the coin compartment and carry coins in my Bastia.

Hi Ladies! to those who own a Mini bearn wallet, what is the maximum number of cards can you fit in? I am considering one but I’m not sure if Euros will fit perfectly as Dollar bills

I bought this little cutie last year at Hermes in Bellagio and I love her so much. For reference, I have my license in the sleeve pocket and three cards in the pocket behind the sleeve. I also have another four cards in the snap closure pocket. If I ever have cash on me, I usually fold and put it behind the snap pocket. I hope this helps!

I completely agree. And I think the card slots in the Epsom wallets in general are very, very snug regardless of what wallet style. Once you put one card in, it gets even harder as you add additional cards. I have tried Bearn, Compact Bearn and the Kelly wallets. The Chevre wallets just seem to have some give even if they are somewhat tight when brand new.

I agree, I have multiple wallets on different styles and leathers. Silk'in wallets are better as the silk pockets have much less friction but will never stretch with use.
