What engagement ring would you wear with this wedding band?

Agree, this is a very personal choice.

Personally, I don't mind some differences but I do prefer the bands to physically "fit" together, as in the overall shape of the bands complement or match each other like a set. If they both were a different shape, that would trigger my OCD lol.

I like things to fit together too if it’s worn on the same finger. Something custom?

If you need to take s9me time to find what you want, you could wear the engagement on your other hand. I sometimes do this

if you decide to wear the engagement ring permanently on the other hand (what I might do with this kind of special wedding ring), I might go for something plain and modern as a contrast or something graceful and curved to compliment

alternatively, I think you could Keep both as they are and add an eternity band of sorts or a beaded edged band to bridge the different styles, but this would IMO require a lot of trial and error and possibly special custom design

They have a solitaire with the same pattern as your band. I’d get that. But what’s your personality? I’m a very matchy matchy person.

I don’t wear lots of jewellery but what I do wear is quite classic - a small Love bracelet & small JUC ring on my right hand, my wedding set & watch (either a RG/SS Rolex DJ or sportier Hublot watch) on my left. Necklaces are always classic too. My clothes on the hand are a bit less classic - mom jeans, oversized sweaters etc

I want the two rings to match in that they compliment each other but not necessarily be exactly the same. I saw this pic on Google which was pretty

Will definitely go custom. I have super skinny fingers (size 2.5!!). Unfortunately the sizes vary too much between fingers so I can’t generally swap rings to the other hand. I’ll be getting a second wedding band in plain rose gold sometime next year when we have another wedding blessing (I’m converting to my husband’s religion).

Do you absolutely want a traditional styled engagement ring? Stacking up some bands or a hefty eternity band would be beautiful too.
Yes I’d definitely like a pretty engagement ring. I have a beautiful green diamond eternity ring (platinum, milgrain) which I wear often. Here’s a pic of me trying it on with a different ring (ignore shiny hands, sanitiser!)

Wow 2.5! I'm a size 3 on my ring finger. First time ever knowing someone who has a smaller ring size than me! Totally understand the struggle, haha.

That looks cute. Are you okay with the diamond of the engagement ring going on top of the wedding band?
I personally don't want diamonds and metal touching or maybe scraping each other (In general overlapping pieces are a bit of a pet peeve of mine). The damage is probably not terrible, but I use my hands a lot and my rings are not super fitted, so they move around a bit.

There is someone here who once posted your style wedding band and an engagement ring with a pear shaped diamond set on the same band. It was so stunning, I wish I could remember what thread it was in. I have gone back to try and find it a couple times since I saw it but alas, no luck.

I think the ring you posted above would be gorgeous.
