Michael Kors What does the hand written number mean

I have found a long hand written number in the inside zipped pocket of my Michael Kors Hamilton satchel

What does it mean?

Does anyone know why these are put in ?

I'm not positive but I know usually it means the store puts that as a final sale.. I know certain dept stores did that with coach before.. As in defective bag or something and it prevents a return. HTH

I think it's for outlets and final sales too. I have a marc jacobs with it and a tory burch.
