What does the Chanel Stamp on the CC emblem mean?

Hello everyone

Does anyone have any insight on what the stamp on my 24B Chanel Twisted Links Top Handle Flap means? It's on the CC emblem, top left. Is the hardware 24kt plated as this bag is recent and I thought the 24kt plating stopped in the 80s or 90s? Thank you

To my knowledge, it doesn't signify anything in particular. It is just a stylistic thing on some bags and does not indicate the plating of the hardware. I have some recent bags that have this and some that don't.
