What do you wear your classic flap with? How do you style it?

Do you always dress up when you wear your Chanel classic flap? Can you wear your classic flap with sporty or casual clothes? (like workout clothes, jeans, leggings & sneakers, etc) If you have a picture, please share it. :yahoo::wave: I want to get a classic flap (like a jumbo or a medium or small flap), but I am not sure if it can go with casual or sporty clothes. Thank you!

I think the classic flap works best with casual simple clothes better than dressed up, actually! My favorite looks are classic flaps with great jeans and simple tees or sweaters that really make the bag stand out, or slightly more dressed up dark pants for the black or darker colored flaps. Blazers and good coats also look great with the classic flap.

On the other hand, with more formal dresses I just don’t think it looks right, and a clutch would look better. With sun dresses, I tend to prefer other more casual looking bags that go with the look better like Chloe. I also don’t think it looks good with athletic wear, that is just way too casual. But wear whatever you want with it that makes you feel good, regardless of what anyone says! Pinterest is a great place for lots of inspiration, here are some I grabbed.

Here are some of my pictures wearing my Chanel Jumbo. I toss between thinking it's too big at times and think about selling it for the M/L. I then look at pictures and think about how much I actually like it!

The problem with the M/L (in my opinion) is that it looks too dressy. Don't get me started on the fact that you can't even fit a water bottle inside. If I'm going to spend that much money on a Chanel I want it to look more casual so I can wear it *all the freakin' time* (and Jumbo speaks that way for me). Sidenote: I do own a WOC to take to events

It's beautiful on you! I have a large flap as well (Reissue) and it's so nice to have the bigger size as an option! I can fit so much!

Thanks for posting all those beautiful pictures. I love the jumbo as well, but I haven't use it for a while. Your pictures remind me to take it out and use it. :) I just got a WOC after 8 years of not wearing any Chanel! I wish I have the money to buy the classic flaps in all sizes. I think the classic flap looks better on others than on me.
