What do you use to get rid of blackheads ?

ok if you have no facialist in your area, then get one of those extraction sticks with a loop at the end and do it yourself. be very gentle and don't break the skinthough.

best to do it after a warm shower when the pores are open.

i heard applying glycolic /aha products also makes it easier to extract....

I was going to suggest Biore strips but it seems you didn't like them much... I usually just put a hot towel on my face and then squeeze them out, it's kinda painful but it gets rid of them!

I used to have 'strawberry nose' too. It's really bad cos i had to do extraction everyweek! Then i found out bout Cellnique's Pro Sebum Gel (Pro Series) or Skin Action Gel (Paramedical). It's amazing! I just have to apply it day n night after my toner, or if u have dry skin types, after moisturiser. My blackheads n whiteheads lessen so much that i only do extraction once in a month, usually longer than tht even! Another good thing is you don't have to squeeze so hard to get the blkheads out. The gel already helps to soften it ;). Cellnique is made in usa so i guess it shouldn't be difficult for u to find it. hehe
Now i cant live without it...

the BEST thing ever is Queen Helene's mint julep masque. i swear to you, this is the best thing you will every try. it's really hard to squeeze out of the tube though. it costs less than $4 at walgreens. just apply on blackheads, leave for 15 minutes, then wash off with washcloth and warm water. blackheads will be practically GONE

If you have access to a steam sauna, go in it for about 5 minutes to get pores open then use a good cleanser while in there on your face. Be careful cause it wil run in your eyes & mouth. Then come out & wash face off in sink. Your face will be squeeky clean.
This worked great for me when I was in 20's. Now I get facials.

I've heard Cellnique gel works wonders too.

Currently my modus operandi is to use aspirin mask. Its a cheap and effective scrub/mask, followed by pore strips which arent that bad if used correctly.
