I am normally a wearer of silver and white gold jewellery.

I have seen this bracelet and I do like it. Is yellow gold better than white gold or sterling silver? Would I be able to wear the bracelet with my white metal pieces?

Very pretty! A nice change from a standard chain. I thinkit's okay to mix metals on the wrist. Is it available in white metal?

Unfortunately, it's not available in white gold. I really like the design of the bracelet. I have only seen it on the jewellers website so don't know the weight of the piece. I think this would be a nice piece to dip my toes into yellow gold. Is yellow gold better than white gold or are they on par with each other?

That's a really pretty bracelet! I don't see anything wrong with mixing metals, and it's been the trend for awhile now. I don't think yellow gold is better than white gold; I feel like it's more about personal preference than anything. I prefer yellow gold, so that's what the majority of my jewelry consists of.

I agree, WG is not necessarily better then YG or RG, it's all personal preference. I've been on a YG kick for a while now, I love the warmth of it :)

it's a beautiful bracelet, I don't see why not, you could definitely mix metals and wear it with WG

I also am a white gold and sterling silver wearer. I've decided to experiment with mixing metals. You try it out for a few days. If it dosen't work them return. It is a beautiful piece. Good luck with your choice. :smile1:

Out of all of the bracelets which would you go for and why? Including the first one I posted earlier today.

I really like that!

I mix metals all the time. I have very odd, distinct preferences for metal color depending on the specific piece of jewelry. For rings, I seem to be drawn to platinum, while for bracelets my preference leans toward yellow or rose gold.

Forgot to add that I am really pale (think English rose with Irish added too).

I know what you mean, I have a collection of white gold jewelry and now I'm "warming up" to gold. I am conflicted, and my husband is less than thrilled as her doesn't like them mixed at all. He says it makes my white gold/diamonds look inexpensive in a stack, plus I'm messing with his vision of the gift! Which someone I agree, and sometimes it just "sings" together.

I like that bracelet. I wanted one very similar myself. In white gold it will appear to be silver, and if that's fine with you then maybe just get a silver one! If I bought a bracelet like that I was going to add a very small white gold/yellow gold/diamond charm to it to ease myself in. Is that something you feel comfortable with?

You can always purchase some 18K gold plated pieces and try out some gold to see if you want to go over to the warm side.

Good luck, can't wait to see what you pick!
