what do you think of these heels?

I bought these two pairs of shoes yesterday at DSW. I like heels but don't see much like this currently online. However, the second pair comes from the designer's website and she published it in April 2010. Opinions?

I think the second ones would be a cute shoe to transition into fall. Not a big fan of the gold in the first pair. Madden hurts my feet though.

thanks viba....the color of the first ones is actually bronze...almost looks like brown but with a bit of shimmer
