What do you think of new Chanel J12 (cabre 12.1, mechanical)

Hello Watch experts, what are Pros and Cons of the watch? Is it possible to wear it for lifetime? Can I pass it to my daughter? According to Chanel website, this watch received one award in fine watch industry in 2019 and can compete with other star watches (Cartier/ Chopard/VCA).
I know nothing about fine watches , and I simply love the design of j12. Any comments are welcome!

PS : some reputable fashion blogger/key opinion leaders recently keep talking about J12, and I don’t trust them.

With proper maintenance it should last a life time… the movement looks robust enough but certainly isn’t finished to a high standard. (By this I am referring to mostly cosmetic elements on the movement)

The 70 hour power reserve is a nice feature if you plan to rotate it as part of a larger collection.

The watch itself is gorgeous and has been an icon for years. The major pro is the scratch resistance of the material while the major negative being that it can shatter if enough force is applied (I.e. dropped onto a hard surface).
