What do you think of fused glass jewelry?

My MIL got me several pieces of fused glass jewelry for my bday. It was super sweet of her (and I know they were spendy) but I just am not "feeling" them. They don't seem very classy to me.
(I live in my Yurman). What do you gals think?

I love glass and your dichroic glass pendants are very nice!
Glass is ancient and amazing! To think that such beauty can be created by sand and metal?
Glass was thought to be discovered by the Egyptians after lightening had struck the sand in the desert.

I collect art glass and I love to find interesting pieces and learn about the glass artist.

Wear these pieces and try to find out who created them.

What stunning colors! I think these would look great with a crisp white shirt or black v-neck sweater or ?? You could have fun experimenting to find the right combination.
