I think the Westminster is beautiful. I don't think the bag has reached the U.S. Stores yet. The Westminster looks like the child of a Saleya and a Verona, which are my two favorite Damier bags). If I did not have my heart so set on the Verona, I'd probably get the Westminster. Have fun shopping!

I don't think I like the pleats on the bag
I did go see the Verona in IRL but I didn't like it.
It is hard to tell with just pictures of the Westminster.
I would have to see it in IRL and decide whether I like it or not.
I have been wanting a tote though but I don't like the NF's although
I have been eying the saleya :amuse:

Does anyone know the price of the Westminster in the US and the release date?
I heard it was August but not sure.
Depending on the price, I can wait on the Westminster bag or get a pre-loved Trevi

I saw it and tried it on here in Toronto... I had high hopes for it but did not like it despite the "decent" price of $1,120(? I forgot already).

I wanted it to be more like the Totally but the GM size was smaller than the Totally MM, the bottom sticks out like the Palermo PM, and the whole bag is quite stiff... kind of like a cardboard box kind of stiff. Keep in mind that it was brand new and not been fondled much so I'm sure it will soften over time. The PM size is cute but way too small for everyday use imo.

It looks a lot like the Siracusa only more square and with long, stiff handles. It has red textile lining.

Overall first impression - way too stiff but very lightweight!

I just got back from Paris 2 days ago and I did see that bag IRL at the flag ship LV store on Champ Elysees. I think you'll have to go and try it on for yourself in person to see if it's right for you.

Just a few tips for LV stores in Paris....
-You can only buy one bag per day.
-Bring your passport with you as they will need it to fill out your VAT form for your purchse.
-Try to go early in the day or later in the evening. The store gets REALLY busy in the afternoon and it's hard to get help from an SA during the busy hours.
-There is also another LV store on montaigne ave that is just 10-15 mins from the one on Champ Elysees. It's not as busy at this location and I found the service to be better.

Have a great time in Paris :yahoo:
