I recently lost my diamond tennis bracelet and so I am in the beginning stages of deciding on a new bracelet. Unfortunately, that was the only piece of jewelry that was on the higher end that wasn't insured.

Three very different styles. How to you want to wear it? Tennis bracelets go day into night. Diamond bangles are more formal and can look old fashioned. The Cartier is all purpose but I think it’s boring and overpriced. It’s so easy for your jeweler to copy it at a fraction of the cost.
Interesting, I always thought the reverse about tennis bracelets and bangles. I would go for the love or a diamond bangle because i find that type of bracelet more comfortable. I like how I can just push them up my arm when I want them out of the way. Non bangle bracelets always fall back down to my wrist.

I don't have the Love bracelet but I do have Juste un Clou and a diamond tennis bracelet. Between the two, I wear the tennis bracelet day and night. I bought the tennis bracelet from Costco for piece of mind because of their awesome return policy. You don't have to worry about losing stones or broken links. Have you thought about getting it from Costco?

I've had the same question for myself before. I was shopping with my jeweler and she said if you're going to spend the same amount of money on Cartier, don't do it. One, being it's overly priced for just gold and brand. Second, there are so many replicas out there. Even if you wore an authentic one, people might think it's fake. She said best is if you really like it, get a jeweler to make one for you, like a replica, then the $ saved, spend it on a nice piece of other jewelry like a diamond tennis bracelet. After listening to her, it made total sense to me. I do love the Cartier love bracelet, but it gets scratched up so easily too. Just sharing my experience. HTH.

This is a very difficult question for any woman, but I normally prefer diamond bangles because it is simple, stylish and easily available in any online store with multiple varieties. Although my kids also love to play with my bangles so rarely I take them off and wear anything else.

I’ve always preferred bracelets to bangles, so I voted for the diamond bracelet. Personally, I’d never spend the money on a Cartier Love bracelet, not because I don’t like them; I do like them. What I don’t like is the vastly inflated price purely because it’s from a designer jeweller. Same with all the high end jewellery designers, tbh.
I might like the look of a piece, but there’s no way I’d be willing to pay the price difference when you can get something even better made especially for you at half the cost.

I can see a logic in everything you said but having owned branded and non branded jewelry myself I can tell you that the cartier love bracelet is the one that will retain its price the best. Try selling a non branded piece of jewelry, you will only get a fraction of what you paid
